HTC launched its 2016 flagship, the 10, earlier this year. Now the company is launching a variant called the HTC 10 evo. This new model will be available in India in late December, and pricing is not yet known. This is the company's first metal body phone with IP57 certification for dust and water resistance.
There's also Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection HTC has dropped the 3.5 Millimeter audio socket, but promises that it's USB Type-C. Earphones are adaptive and can tailor their sound profile to each user's unique ear structure. A fingerprint reader is also built into the Home button on the front. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and has 3GB of RAM, plus 32GB of internal storage; this can be expanded using a microSD card.
You also get a 3200mAh battery with quick- charging support. HTC ships the 10 evo with Android 7.0 And it's custom HTC sense UI on top. The screen is a 5.5-Inch quad HD panel. Which can show two apps in split-screen mode for multitasking.
The 16-megapixel rear camera features Optical Image Stabilization and 4K video recording. A Pro mode also lets you manually adjust settings and take long exposure shots. There's also an 8-megapixel front camera. That was a quick look at the HTC 10 evo.
